After 18 months of silenced bells due to the pandemic, we are overjoyed to gather together again to present Three Rivers Ringers’ music to you, our faithful friends!

The pandemic forced Three Rivers Ringers to cancel two spring and one winter series of concerts, and to hunker down along with much of the world. Though we could not make music together safely for the longest time, our Board of Directors and staff continued to work, donating their time to help guide our organization through the most difficult period since our founding in 2010.

While shut down, we trimmed our expenses back as far as we could go, and we’re so grateful that your continued financial support kept us going through those dark days of 2020 and 2021. Three Rivers Ringers was still able to celebrate our 10th Anniversary in 2020 with a virtual concert made up of archival recordings, plus a virtual Spring Rewind concert this year. Plus, we met together to record a brand new piece of handbell music that TRR commissioned from Jason W. Krug, titled The Only Constant.

Now, thanks to our safety protocols including vaccination and masking, Three Rivers Ringers is back together and ready for a great Winter Concert Series! To continue to give back to the community that supports us, we are continuing in our mission to advance the art of handbell ringing through performance and educational activities, like the Western Pennsylvania Handbell Festival (returning in 2023) as well as individual and group workshops.

Your financial support is critical to make this mission possible. On Giving Tuesday, November 30, 2021, Three Rivers Ringers is participating in GiveBigPittsburgh, an online day of giving created to support nonprofits in the Pittsburgh region. You can support TRR from 12:01 am to 11:59 PM on GiveBigPittsburgh.com here. Or at any time, you can donate online via Paypal on threeriversringers.org, or by mailing a check to P.O. Box 79180, Pittsburgh, PA 15216.
