We have only one week until the start of Three Rivers Ringers’ spring concert series, Shall We Dance?, which explores the varied world of dance music. The concert will feature music covering a variety of dance styles, including Johann Strauss II’s Blue Danube Waltz, a tour de force when arranged for handbells. The program will also feature original compositions written for handbell ensemble by Hart Morris and Karen Lakey Buckwalter. “This concert truly has something for everyone-Viennese waltzes, foxtrots, mariachi tunes, even technopop!” said our Artistic Director Nancy Lutz. “We’re proud to share this program with our audiences this spring.”

Tickets for the Mt. Lebanon and Washington concerts are $7 for advance sales, $10 on the day of performance and can be purchased at the links below or at threeriversringers.showclix.com or by calling 1-888-71-TICKETS. The performances in East Liberty, Sewickley and Westlake, OH are free, donations accepted.

As a sneak preview, check out video of Three Rivers Ringers playing the kinetic A Time to Dance by Hart Morris, recorded at this month’s Western PA Handbell Festival. This is only the start of what we have in store for you this spring!
