Experience Charles Dickens’ timeless holiday masterpiece like never before! Join Three Rivers Ringers, Pittsburgh’s premier handbell ensemble, along with guest vocalists and percussionist, for a captivating performance of A Christmas Carol. This special production weaves dramatic narration of Ebenezer Scrooge’s journey together with rich handbell and choral music. The musical narrative features cherished classics like The First Noel, a poignant setting of Stille Nacht, and the festive cheer of the Wassail Song, alongside the world premiere of Caleb Onstead’s dynamic new arrangement of Good King Wenceslas. In addition, featured on this program is a TRR favorite, Thundersnow by Elizabeth Peters which we will also perform at Heinz Hall as we take the stage alongside the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra and the Mendelssohn Choir of Pittsburgh for this year’s Highmark Holiday Pops.
