Here are some photos from our recent performance at Oakmont Presbyterian Church on Sunday, April 22nd. The church was packed, with over 200 people in attendance! A big thank you to Bert Erickson, our host, and the members of OPC’s Handbell choirs for organizing the concert and the wonderful post-concert reception.
Please visit our events page here for information about our remaining performances of An American Adventure. We hope to see you this spring!
Our setup at Oakmont is typical of how we often play in churches, with our bass players behind the rest of the ensemble.
This is a better view of our setup at Oakmont. You can see our bass chimes on the left side, which really add to our performances this spring. The chimes act almost like a subwoofer, giving a rich, deep bass sound that reinforces the rest of the ensemble.
Our audience at Oakmont was fantastic.; over 200 people came to watch us perform. It was a standing-room only event!
Our post-concert reception was amazing! The handbell ringers at Oakmont provided hundreds of cookies. It was a great way to close our first concert weekend of the spring.
